Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine is a storied school that’s over a century old and can boast of thousands of alumni. In 2014, the university and college updated its branding and was in the process of ensuring all of its assets reflected it. While Columbia Dental Magazine needed to be redesigned eventually, the Winter 2015 issue didn’t align with the overall brand rollout timeline. Under the helm of a new marketing director, we instead cleaned up a recent redesign to introduce more order and hierarchy to begin establishing consistencies across the entirely of the magazine rather than by section.
